Ray joined GRE in 2005 after a 20 years in a leadership roll, developing new markets for White Directory Publishers of New York. In that position his teams delivered outstanding financial performance, customer satisfaction and market penetration. In addition to his duties as President of GRE, Ray directs the Ethanol Division that is seeking to develop collaboration with southeast Florida farmers to grow crops be distilled to Ethanol.

Ray is GRE's representative to the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) where Ray is a member of the Biomass Coordinating Council and also a member of Sweet Sorghum to Ethanol Association(SSEA).

Ray is also involved in many community organizations; Income Development Committee of the Florida Division of the American Cancer Society, Rotary Club of Sebastian, Indian River County America Cancer Society, Indian River County representative to Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council and Board Member of Fellsmere Festivals Inc.
